2008 CAUG / WUG Regional Conference
The
Chicago Area Users Group and the
Wisconsin Regional Users Group express their thanks
to the nearly 200 attendees, vendors and Siemens personnel that made the October 14 event in
Kenosha, WI a huge success. Keynote addresses were given by Jeff Kuberka of
PLM World, Doug Fish of Siemens PLM and George
Rendell, also from Siemens. John Baker drew gasps and applause from the audience with the new
Synchronous Technology that has astounded the CAD world.
Attendees chose from 22 technical presentations in 4 tracks: CAD, CAM, Solid Edge and Teamcenter,
as well as several follow-along hands on sessions and the opportunity for one-on-one technical
support. Several presentations were done by Siemens customers, and all were aimed at improving the
daily work of the attendees.
Sincere thanks also go to the 11
partner vendors who offered their finest tools and services, and were a significant factor
in supporting the conference.
This was a conference for users, presented by users. We encourage everyone to join their
regional user group and also become a citizen of PLM World,
the international voice of Siemens PLM product users.
